Claire Randall act as an extension of our team to challenge our production agencies on cost. They create healthy tension to ensure we are getting cost efficiencies and are paying a fair cost on production. We bring them in at the very start of a campaign within the briefing process, so they are aware of the objectives, requirements, budget and expectations. They then work closely with the specific agencies to ensure our requirements are met for the best value possible. As they fit into our existing processes there is no additional time considerations which is always a bonus.
Although they sit in creative meetings, they don’t comment on creative. However, it’s important that they are party to these conversations to understand what we are trying to achieve. As all the CR team have a production background, they understand the processes and often have experience working with TV directors for example. All in all, they are a lovely group of people and really enhance our production process, saving us money along the way which is always a bonus!
